Transitions, and Why I Hate Moving
Jun/02/10 12:22

So now I find myself preparing for a new assignment as the First Consultor of the Paulist Fathers. I’ll be moving to New York in about two weeks.
I think that the hardest part of moving is packing. It forces you to pick up literally everything you own, and decide to trash it, give it away, or take it with you. To make that decision, you end up evaluating literally every relationship, and everything you’ve done since the last time you moved. It’s emotionally pretty exhausting.
So my last official day at the Newman Center will be this Friday, June 4th. After that I’ll take 10 days to pack, and move on the 14th-15th. Wish me luck!
